· Use water or a mild soap to clean cast iron pans. (Strong detergents, metal cleaning pads and dishwashers are not recommended as they will remove seasoning)

· Use paper towels or a lint-free wipe to dry quickly and completely.

· Heat the pan and coat it with a layer of vegetable oil.

· Cast iron Pots and pans should be hung or kept in a dry place.
